St George's
Church of England Academy

OCTOBER 2023

The end of the first half term is almost upon us. Just a message to say that I'm delighted with how well the children have settled into life in Year 4. We have had a very busy half term and the children have learned many new skills along the way.

Amongst other things, we have built Greek pots out of salt dough, enjoyed participating in weekly Yoga sessions and are now having our swimming lessons at the Dolphin Centre.

Hopefully the following half term will be equally as enjoyable as we prepare ourselves for Christmas.

I have attached the Homework grid and the topic web for this term. It has also been added to the class dojo.

Further information will be shared closer to the time but just a reminder that Class 4G will be starting swimming lessons at the Dolphin Centre, on Monday mornings, starting on October 23rd.
The children will need a swimming costume or swimming shorts, swimming caps (if their hair is past their shoulders) and a towel. Goggles can be used if they have them but they are not essential.
Any questions, please get in touch.
