Good morning,

What a fantastic musical day we had yesterday. In the morning the mayor of Darlington visited our school and listened to our amazing musicians and singers. Certificates were awarded to all children who play an instrument in our school.

In the afternoon we held a Christmas carol concert. The children have been practising very hard with this, learning all the carols and even signing to ‘Away in a manger’. Each year group read aloud a part of the Christmas story. A huge congratulations to Alex, who read out our part of the story without even reading from a script!
