School Choir sing at Dinsdale Court Retirement Home

This morning, Mrs Skirving and Mrs Cox took the School Choir to sing to the residents of Dinsdale Court Retirement Home. The residents were extremely grateful and really appreciated the superb singing. The children have been practising for many weeks as part of their weekly Choir Club. The Choir also kindly presented the residents and staff with lovely Christmas cards that have been made for them by the children in our school. You have shown superb Kindness St George's and we are extremely proud of all of you.

 Middleton Hall Retirement Village

Today, Mr Simpson and Mrs Norris took a group of Year 5 children to Middleton Hall Retirement Home, to play board games and chat to the elderly residents there. The children and residents played Connect Four, Dominoes, Pictionary and they even sang songs together! ☺️ It really made the elderly residents very happy and we were so proud of the caring, friendly and compassionate way that our pupils conducted themselves. You showed superb kindness St George’s. Really well done.

Autumn Art Activities Middleton Hall 

Yesterday, a group of children from Year 5 went to Middleton Hall Retirement Village with Mr Simpson. The children chatted to the elderly residents and completed an Autumn art activity with them. The children showed great care and compassion and the elderly residents really enjoyed seeing them. You showed superb kindness and excellent behaviour St George’s and we are extremely proud of you.
