How to apply for a nursery place.
If you would like to apply for a nursery place at St George's CE Academy, please complete the application form attached below and return it to the school office with a copy of their birth certificate or passport.
We recommend that you visit our nursery if you are considering making an application to our setting. This will allow you to meet out team, explore the environment and ask any questions that you may have. 15-30 Hours Entitlement
All nursery aged children are entitled to 15 hours of free early education. At St George's, for the academic year starting September 2025, we provide this provision from 9.00am to 12.00pm or 12.00pm to 3.00pm each day.
We also offer 30 hours of high quality free early education, led by a qualified teacher, to eligible families. The 30 hours childcare is designed to help working families by reducing the cost of childcare and to support parents/carers into work or enable them to work more hours. We believe that the additional time at our setting also helps to further develop your child's readiness to start school.
Should you wish to take advantage of the 30 hours offer, the hours will be between 9.00am and 3.00pm, for the academic year starting September 2025.
