What is actually in an energy drink?

As part of healthy living and fitness week we took a look at some common energy and caffeine drinks. We studied their ingredients and found out a little bit about some of the unhealthy additives contained in these drinks. We found out many contain high amounts of sugar and glucose syrup which can increase your chances of getting diabetes. Others contain caffeine which speeds up your heart rate and increases your blood pressure. Some even had wood rosin which can cause nausea and sickness in high amounts. We decided it would be best to use these drinks in moderation and not every single day as part of our healthy diet. Well done Class 7!
