Class 3G – 20.05.20 – Shape and Friction

Good morning Class 3G and happy Wednesday!

This mornings Maths work carries on with shape but moves onto 3D shapes looking at faces, edges and vertices. Ensure you remind yourself what these terms mean before attempting the work. Only 2 Mathletics activities have been set today, so it shouldn’t take you too long.

I would also like to direct you to the BBC bitesize website for their daily Science lesson which looks at friction. As Forces and Magnets would have been our next Science topic.

There is no specific English work set for today, but if you have planned some writing on Monday, then maybe you could write it up today (see writing tasks uploaded on Friday). There are also lots of new activities on the topic grid I uploaded yesterday.

However, the sun is shining outside and it is a lovely day, Mr Mackenzie grants permission for an extra long play time (if you have been behaving yourself for your parents). We all need some vitamin D and its not often we get a day like this. Perhaps do some exercise outside, go on a long walk, or just happily play in the sun (play nicely if you have siblings)!

Enjoy the sunshine and have a fantastic day, don’t forget to send your birthday videos for Kian into the KS2 email. Thanks to those who have done so already.

Take care

Mr Mackenzie
