“I can do it!”

Hello Nursery,

We would like to thank parents who have worked alongside us in helping to promote independence skills and ‘I can do it!’ attitude with their children. We know it is not easy! It is lovely to see the children grow in confidence and to see the achievement on their faces glowing with pride.  Since the beginning of October we have been focusing on helping the children to independently put on their own coats and to be able to fasten them.  We are proud to announce that an increasing number of children are now able to do this and some are almost there.  There is a lot of grit and determinations be shown in our cloakroom currently and that makes us proud to.  We love children who have a good go! We would like all the children to share this sense of achievement and for this reason we aim to focus on this “I can do activity” a little longer.  Next Monday our focus will change!  We will continue to support your child in gaining their independence in this activity until they are successful.

Stay safe and well,  And as they say in Strictly – Keep Trying! We know it is really Keep Dancing but we thought we would adapt it to suit us.

Lots of Love Mrs Lawrance, Mrs Wake and Mrs Taylor xxx
