KS1 Easter Egg Competition

We are inviting your child to take part in an Easter egg competition in each of the KS1 classes. Traditionally we have always held this event in the school hall but due to COVID it could not take place last year. Children are invited to bring an egg (hard boiled) already decorated into their classroom if they wish to take part. This is optional so there is no pressure to take part. Sorry if this is short notice but we had to decide whether we could still let it happen. The idea is that the children make the egg into something, eg, a character, animal, person, often using ‘egg’ as a pun/joke. It could be as simple as turning your egg into a ladybird, or a whole scene with multiple eggs like ‘Eggs factor’, for example. There will be a prize for first, second and third places.

If your child wishes to take part, they will need to bring their egg into school on Thursday morning.
