Odd Sock Day – Monday 16th November, 2020,

Odd Sock Day 2020 – Celebrating Difference in an Inclusive Way

Being Different is Okay – Wear Odd Socks Today.

This year we are holding Odd Socks Day.  It’s a chance for Primary schools to celebrate Anti-Bullying week in a positive way by asking children and staff to wear odd socks to school.  There is no pressure to wear the latest fashion or buy expensive costumes.  All you have to do to take part is wear odd socks.  It couldn’t be simpler!

Odd Sock Day will take place on the first day of Anti-Bullying Week, Monday 16th November  to help raise awareness for Anti-Bullying Week.  The rest of your child’s school uniform should be worn as normal.

As a school we will be participating in a range of activities throughout the week, in line with the Anti-bullying theme – United Against Bullying.  We hope to promote the idea of diversity but most importantly respect and kindness. That we are all the same but different. This will include work on online safety and responsible use of social media and online gaming.

We hope the children will enjoy the week and find it valuable.

With kind regards
