I hope you are all well, safe and healthy. We are so sad today knowing that we will not be seeing all of your smiling faces this morning, but it won’t be for long and we can all be back together again soon! This home learning is for those children who have been asked to isolate only.
To ensure the children do not miss any of their learning, I will be posting daily Literacy and Maths activities, which the children would have been doing at school this week. Alongside this, I will be uploading a daily story for the children to listen to, and below you can find another ‘I can’ learning grid, which includes activities related to other curriculum learning areas.
Although the children will not have chance to change their reading books as normal, they will be able to access and practise their reading through Oxford Owl.
https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/ – Once on the Oxford Owl website, click on ‘Oxford Owl for Home’, then ‘Free ebook Library’ and finally ‘Oxford Reading Tree’. You will need to create an account to be able to access the ebooks, but this is completely free of charge.
Don’t forget you can also access Lexia and Mathletics at home too, and if you would like to, you can even have a go at playing ‘Obb and Bob‘ in your own home!
Please also find attached a letter regarding our Christmas Nativity this year. This will still be going ahead when we do return to school!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me on email@example.com 🙂
