I can’t believe we are already up to day 3 of our home learning!
Today’s story is… Zog! I love this story and I hope you enjoy it too!
To get our ‘funky fingers’ warmed up and ready for some super work, this morning we would like you to join in with our ‘Dough Disco‘! Remember, if you don’t have any Play Doh, you can always use some rolled up socks!
Today we are going to be practising the ‘r’ sound and learning another brand new digraph, the ‘ar’ sound!
Now it is time to practise writing our new sounds. Don’t forget, you don’t need to print these out, you can copy them onto any piece of paper!
After you have practised writing the sounds, we would like you to try and read and copy these words, just like we do in class. Can you show us your neatest handwriting?
Remember – if you are already confident with ‘r’, you only need to practise the ‘ar’ sound. If you need some more practise, only do the ‘r’ sound!
Today in Maths, we would like you to continue practising subtraction. Can you copy down these number sentences and work out the answer using objects around your home?
When you are done, why don’t you have a go at making your own subtraction number sentences?
Why don’t you have a go at making your very own Space Rocket today? Below are some pictures to give you some ideas!
We can’t wait to see them!!
Keep sending your pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org 🙂
